The Passage Day Centre continues to provide a safe, warm environment offering food, clothing, laundry etc.  In additional, it runs specialist services, including housing and benefit advice, health work and education.  Passage House provides overnight accommodation for 53 people who would otherwise be sleeping on the streets, and it is full every night.  Although 43% of the costs are covered by Government Grants, the Passage relies for the remainder on donations.

This year St Raphael’s Church and St Joseph’s school are working together to raise funds for a special group of children living in Udavum Karangal (Helping Hands) which is based in India.

One of St Joseph’s parents visited the orphanage last year and brought their need to our attention.
