PALM SUNDAY

The drama of Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem is proclaimed and re-enacted as the congregation moves in procession to the Church (9.30 am Mass only).  We enter the house of God proclaiming Christ as King.  The palm branch symbolizes a fearless witness to Christ and to the Gospel values.  In our home this sacramental should challenge us throughout the year.

Popular acclaim of heroes is fickle.  We now examine our conscience regarding our witness to the Catholic faith and its values.  What compromises come to mind?  Remember the confidence of St Paul.  "I can do all things in Him who strengthens me."
