At midnight Mass, Christmas 2005, Fr. Flynn confers the rare honour of the Medal of Merit of the Altar Servers' Guild of St. Stephen on Desmond Mulcahy to mark 25 years of dedicated service as an altar server. We congratulate Desmond.
St Raphael's has a dedicated team of altar servers who are skilled in serving Mass and such ceremonies as Confirmation with the Archbishop. St Raphael's altar servers are part of the Guild of St Stephen.
Holy Week ceremonies are truly beautiful and moving, and bring the parish closer to Christ. The altar servers play an important role in bringing the message of the death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ to the community.
